Our Mission Depends on You!
Ticket sales and school tuition cover only about 70% of Springfield Ballet’s operating expenses. Without our donors and community partners, the services we offer beyond the classroom and stage would not be possible to the Southwest Missouri community. Opportunities like our Dance Chance after-school program at Title I schools, 2nd grade performances of The Nutcracker for all 2,000+ Springfield Public Schools students, tuition scholarships for at-need students, and sponsorships of professional guest artists for our pre-professional productions are all dependent upon your support. Since Springfield Ballet is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law. You are encouraged to consult your attorney, accountant, or financial advisor when making a contribution to Springfield Ballet or any other not-for-profit organization.

Contribute to the Legacy Scholarship Fund
Many students would not be able to attend Springfield Ballet, or study dance at all, if not for tuition scholarship opportunities. The number of scholarship applicants continues to rise every semester. To address these needs, in March 2012, Springfield Ballet launched the Legacy Scholarship Fund, held at the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, to provide sustainable funding for these need-based tuition scholarships.
To make a donation to The Legacy Scholarship Fund, please contact Abigail Lind, Executive Director, at 417.862.1343 or alind@springfieldballet.org.
