Children’s Workshop Series
Each Springfield Ballet workshop engages boys and girls (age 3–8) in an afternoon of fun and dance that includes learning roles from the ballet, crafts, games, a synopsis of the story and a surprise guest performance. No dance experience is needed to attend this enriching ballet introduction.

Saturday, June 29, 10:00 am- 12:00 pm
All workshops are held at The Creamery
Arts Center. Children are not required to have dance experience to
attend - this is open to all! Participants should wear comfortable attire (stretch/sweat pants
and t-shirt or leotard and tights), bare feet or dance shoes.
Cost per dancer is $20 per workshop

day of dance! Boys and girls in grades 1-4 are
invited to join us as we explore the world of dance and more. No dance experience needed to attend - all are welcome!
Cost is $35 per dancer.

Winter/Spring 2024
Saturday, April 13, 9:30-10:30am - FULL
Join Springfield Ballet instructor and former
professional dancer Joshua Velazquez for a free fun-filled dance
workshop just for the boys! Young men ages 7-12 will experience dance
movement and conditioning exercises that improve balance, coordination,
agility and strength. The connection between increased athleticism and
dance movement will be explored.
No dance experience is necessary but spots are limited so register today!
